Boys tennis schedule for 2025 and court avaialbility
Highschool courts are usually pretty busy with practices and high school matches during work days M-F and some Saturdays until middle of May. They are usually available on Sundays , some Saturdays and M-F evenings when a team is playing out of town. Most high school matches are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Looks like three particular Saturdays will be busy across all Rochester courts including Kutzky for big 9 tournament. Century is hosting a multi team event on April 26th , Mayo invitational tournament is on May 2nd and Big 9 conference tournament is on May 10th . Checking links below (match schedules for all 5 schools) might be helpful . For instance, if Mayo is playing out of town that day, their courts are probably open. Keep in mind that JM courts are under construction this spring so JM has two matches on Mayo/Century courts . They are playing against Faribault at Mayo on 4/15 and against Winona at Century on 4/17.
As far as practices go, Mayo has a pretty big team so their practice goes from 3:30-7pm . Seems like JM will be practicing at Soldier's field and their practices should be ending around 6pm. Potentially some JV matches might be played there. Century team has 34 players and we don't know yet if their team will have everyone practice right after school. If they do that I am guessing their courts should be open at 6pm.
Not sure when they will finish remodeling JM courts but hopefully sometime in June. More detailed info will be posted here once the boys season starts.
Lourdes and Schaeffer teams are practicing at Kutzky 3-5:30 and matches going to around 7pm.
Fox Valley courts are freshly remodeled, Allendale park has one new court, Goose egg courts are also in decent shape as well . If you don't mind playing on plastic surface Willow creek might be the best option, not sure about court surface quality at Quarry Hill . Elmcroft has one court in decent shape as well.
